Here's the Inside Scoop
The origin of GIDCH comes from a combination of my three names - GIDeon C. Hodulick.
But don't tell anyone. I always like to hear people guess.
I have grown up around tools and construction at various stages of my life. Looking back, the my most valuable experience during those years was working alongside seasoned carpenters, volunteering my time and energy for various causes. Earning the respect of those carpenters I volunteered with eventually garnered an employment opportunity at the age of seventeen, allowing me to hone my skills. After a few years I secured a leadership position which exposed me to the inner workings of the construction business. From that experience I was determined to open my own construction company and do it better. My philosophy in building GIDCH was and still is to combine the skills of highly qualified craftsman, quality material, and a strong unwavering ethical center. Given the opportunity, I'm confident that your experience with GIDCH Construction will be a positive one. Gideon C. Hodulick
Founder & President
Gideon is the foundation of GIDCH Construction with 22 years of construction experience. In 2002 Gideon founded GIDCH Construction with a clear and simple mission: “build it better while staying true to an ethical center” with Honesty, Integrity, & Sincerity as his motto. With more than 400 clients in our portfolio, GIDCH has established a reputation throughout Long Island as one of the best construction companies to work with.
Tony Carrozzo
Partner
Tony joined Gidch Construction in 2008 and was named partner in 2009. But it is important to note that his relationship with Gideon goes back more than 25 years. His 30+ years of Engineering, Specialty Fabrication, and Project Management experience working for corporations like Grumman, and Fairchild is a real asset to our company and our customers. Tony has a reputation for being detail-oriented, and has been credited with building a great rapport with our customers and making sure we deliver exactly what is expected.
Joe Vecchio
Partner
Joe joined GIDCH Construction in 2009 and was shortly named partner in early 2010. In addition to the projects Joe has become known for designing and building as member of the GIDCH team he brings 15+ years of Architecture and Project Management experience. With a notable resume of high profile projects with the Estee Lauder Companies, American Express, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Little Cupcake Bakeshop, to name a few. Edna Hodulick
Executive Manager
Edna is the core of the GIDCH operation. Edna joined Gidch Construction in 2006 bringing with her 30+ years of administrative and people skills. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University, Virginia. Edna makes sure we’re all on task to get your job done on time. She oversees the administrative responsibilities, and maintains an organized, positive and calming work environment at our office.
